The Rodrigues Regional Assembly (RRA), in collaboration with the Government of the Republic of Mauritius and with the technical and financial support of the IOC-ECOFISH Programme, is organising the Resource Mobilisation and Partnership Workshop for the implementation of the Rodrigues Sustainable and Profitable Fisheries Strategy (2026–2030).

 

The workshop will take place in Rodrigues on the 20 & 21 August 2025 and will bring together high-level representatives from national and regional authorities, development partners, donor agencies, financial institutions, and the private sector.
  • Present the investment priorities and enabling framework of the Rodrigues Sustainable and Profitable Fisheries Strategy (2026–2030);
  • Engage development partners, donor agencies, and private sector actors in discussions on mobilising innovative and sustainable financing solutions, including blended capital mechanisms, to support financial sustainability, resilience, and inclusivity in the fisheries sector.
  • Develop a Resource Mobilisation and Partnership Plan to guide the effective implementation of the strategy.
