- E€OFISH supports actions to coordinate the fight against illegal fishing in the region by organising the 12th meeting of the Extended Regional Coordination Unit (ERCU) of the Regional Fisheries Monitoring Plan (PRSP) on 4 and 5 July 2023 in Antananarivo, Madagascar, and the 56th meeting of the PRSP Regional Coordination Unit (RCU) on 27 and 28 September 2023, in Seychelles. - A national workshop to strengthen collaboration between the various agencies involved in fisheries monitoring, control and surveillance was held in Seychelles on 28 and 29 July 2023. See the pictures.
- An initial training course on catch certification and traceability has been provided to French-speaking countries in the region as part of cooperation between the IOC and the EFCA. This initiative was held on 13 and 14 September 2023 in Flic en Flac, Mauritius, and brought together representatives from the Comoros, Madagascar and the Seychelles. More info.
